Mequon Traditional Kitchen, Dinette, & Mud Room Addition

Transforming a modest and poorly laid out kitchen, into a larger, well functioning one that would allow a mother and her three daughters to cook at the same time was the main goal. Also, it was important to increase the size of the dinette for this family of five and create a connection to the new mud room. This functional new room allows a place for anything and everything to have a home. A dramatic 10’ granite island anchors the kitchen and creates sufficient work surfaces from both sides. The decorative hood becomes the focal point and the adjacent tiled wall mosaic completes the composition.
