Mike Sazama


Controller

Michael started out assisting carpenters and organizing project sites over summers at age 10. He studied finance and economics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee while working as an electrician. He worked for two electrical contractors prior to joining Sazama Design Build Remodel in 2002. In his first permanent role at Sazama, Michael held the title of ‘Expeditor’, making sure all aspects of the business ran smoothly.

Now Michael oversees the accounting department and is also the office manager. His role is still to provide flawless execution in all aspects of client projects. He coordinates office staff and works with clients to provide the most positive experience possible for everyone involved.

“I strive to constantly improve our efficiency and effectiveness for superior communication between our clients, our office, contractors and carpenters. Much of my creative energy comes from visiting project sites at various stages.”
